4:04 pm - @.@
I can explain.

Really. Honest.

Anyway, someone or something must be messing with my computer, because I can't get a signal -anywhere-, despite the fact that my equipment's supposed to be working perfectly. I even got my computer checked out in town, and the guy at the shop told me it was fine. Weird.

I'm in Lavaridge Town right now, after wandering around Fallabor and Meteor Falls for a while. I've been thinking about what Wes told me, so I've tried to stay away from people in general, but not too far.

On the plus side, I have a new team member. She's (the nurse here confirmed that she's definitely a she) a Skarmory, but I haven't been able to come up with a name for her. She's taken a liking to thwacking Mend and I upside the head, which is funny, I guess, in some irritating way. I wouldn't mind taking name suggestions for her, if you guys want to help out.

4:05 pm - Ugh
Jeez, it's been forever since I last posted! Stupid lack of Internet connection...

Well, I'm not stuck in Dewford anymore. We- or more accurately, Mend, Irry, Irry's magical animated skin of d00m (A.K.A. Steve), and myself- built a raft after two weeks' worth of trial and error, and set sail for Slateport. Ciarog won't listen to me, for some reason.

So yeah, I'm in Slateport now. I'm leaving a.s.a.p., though. Big cities... ><;

Also, Mend and Irry evolved. Mend evolved after the fourth raft sank (about a week ago), and Irry sometime during last night. Irry's still getting used to his new form, and I'm still getting used to Steve. It's very unsettling to wake up to a ghostly bugthinger staring at you. :0

I'll have to go back to Dewford at some point, but for now, I'm off to get out of this city.

current mood: Finally! Internet at last!

Sorry 'bout not telling you all earlier, I haven't been able to charge up my laptop until this morning.

Anyways, I caught a new Pokémon. The only problem is I have NO idea what the hell it is, and neither does Wes. The only thing I can guess is that it's a Bug-type. Ah, if only I had a camera, then maybe someone could recognize it.

For now, though, I'm calling it "Ciarog." 'Twas Rory's idea, along with "Mr. High-Five Banjo String." :0

12:52 am - I'ma Have to Make This Short
The Internet connection's a bit patchy right here, so I'll have to make this quick.

This town SUCKS. It's practically deserted! The Pokémon Center is shut down, and I had to pay extra to the clerk at the inn to let me stay there.

... Which is why I've temporarily moved into a cave (I think it's called the Granite Cave, but I'm not sure), which is also why the connection's pretty bad. I used up most of my battle-earned money on supplies for the three of us, a spiffy laptop, and a boat rental to get out here, so I only had cash for a few nights at most.

... Oh craaaaaaaaap. I'm running out of battery life. See you all (hopefully) later.

8:02 pm - W00tyay!
Guess what?

No, go on, guess. =D

... Okay, that works much better in a chat room.

Anyways, we took on the Rustboro gym and won! |D I thought it would be one of those impossible battles, but 'twas easier than I thought. Roxanne was harder than all the other trainers I've fought up until now, though >> << Ah well.

*Ish waiting for Nurse Joy to give her Irry's current state* *Scribbles note: "Geodude hit hard. Nosepass hit harder. And bugs don't always have 00bar-tough exoskeletons* He took a pretty thorough beating. D= Even Mend's a little bit worried...

Oh well.

And, er, Dewford's the next place to get a badge, right? Right?

8:34 pm - It's Go Time
What the fuck? This isn't like me, being away from the 'net for so long. ><

Ah well. Mend, Irry, and I think we're ready to take on Roxanne tomorrow.

Also, Mendenhall seems to be warming up a bit to Iratus, and they're no longer at each other's throats all the time. 83 They do fight whenever food's involved, though.

8:04 am - Niiiiiiincada! ^-^
I'm usually not gone this long from the 'net... Weird...

Anyways, Jay is a happy Jay. Jay caught a Nincada a couple days ago 8D Jay has named the Nincada Iratus.

Yes. ^o^ I caught a totally awesome Nincada. Unfortunately, I have to train him up some before I can go challenge Roxanne. Ah well.

The only bad thing about catching a new Pokémon is that Mend's now seriously pissed off at me or Iratus. Or, he might just be pissed at the both of us. The two have been fighting over small stuff, and I've had to break it up every single fuckin' time. 'S not fun >/

Still, I'm sure that Mend'll get over it. Until then, I have a bug and a fish to discipline. ><

Catch y'all later. =3

3:34 pm - Training
Just letting everyone know I'm alive. I got lost in the Petalburg Woods.

It's a long story.

Anyways, Mend and I are in Rustboro now. We've been training for the battle against Roxanne. I have to keep looking up what moves he knows, though, which can be annoying and embarassing.

Also, I thought I saw a guy in black clothes dart around the streets last night. I'm not entirely sure, though. =/

6:34 pm - I Wish I Had a Speedometer...
Why? I'll explain after I re-organize my thoughts. 'S always hard for me to make total sense, moreso after just getting up. ><;

Though getting up at all is a good sign for me. I always scare myself when I think about mortality. 'S not a phobia; I got over my only true phobia so far, whatever the fear of quicksand is, when I was nine or so. Thank Zapdos for earth science textbooks. Unfortunately, anyoe who could explain what happens after death is no longer with us, so... It just sends chills down my spine. What if nothing happens?

Enough of my slightly morbid thoughts, you're probably wondering "why the speedometer?"

Okay, yesterday was my first day of my gym quest. Mend (Mendenhall, the Mudkip I received from Prof. Birch) and I set out on Route 101 after I said goodbye to my Mom. One of the first things I notice is that as soon as the sun's up, I have to put on shorts and a tank-top- I's waaaay warmer here than I thought, even in the shade.

After cooling down a bit (And getting this obscure look from Mend), I decide it might be a good idea to try a battle with a wild Pokémon. All I can say is this: are all those Zigzagoon and Wurmple supposed to be cannon fodder?

Anyways, after eating a light lunch, the two of us come across a sign that reads "OLDALE TOWN: 7 miles." I remember it motly because that was about the time Mend started to get tired, so I picked him up and started carrying him on my shoulder. Yes, I ad mit it's a tad cliché. Continuing, I figure that I'll be able to walk seven miles of forest path before nightfall, so I decide to take my time and stop to smell the roses... Or whatever wildflower happened to be growing oh-so-convinently beside the beaten path.

Okay, I took way longer than I originally thought, and ended up emerging from Route 101 at about 9:00 PM. Mend had long since fallen asleep, so I recalled him before I ended up with Mudkip drool all over me. That was also about the time I heard barks an howls coming from behind, and even caught a glimpse of a couple pairs of eyes in the bushes. It was a Mightyena clan on the prowl. I didn't stick around to ask why.

About the last hundred yards or so to the Oldale Pokémon Center, I really, really wish I had some way of recording my speed, even though the Mightyena were probably more scared of me than I was of them. Still, there's nothing like a good race against an efficient predator to help you get some sleep.

And now, I think it's time I went back to bed. My thoughts are even more disorganized now than before I tried to sort them.

4:47 pm - First Post
Ya srsly.

Okay, I'm just being silly.

Anyways, I'm in Littleroot Town right now. Mom's going to go back home tomorrow (It was easier for someone to escort me over here rather than pay to send me over alone), so I'm going to have to get to bed earlier than normal if I'm going to say goodbye.

And yay, tomorrow I officially start my gym challenge. *Dances somewhat akwardly*

So yeah, I'm only going to be on for a little while longer. Mom's been telling me I need to pack up for tomorrow. *Shifty eyes*
